Ahh, family portraits! It can be one of the more difficult tasks ... to convince a spouse to participate, figure out what to wear and then wrangle wiggly kiddos! Believe me, I know! 

Sometimes, it's easy to think portraits don't matter. Yet when we point to our walls and talk about grandparents who live out-of-town, or cousins who are globetrotting, it's important to have pictures of these loved ones on our walls. It's even more important for me to have a visible reminder of the love in my marriage and our love for our son on display in our home. Because we all have difficult days and tough seasons in life. 

These portraits help remind us of what binds us together, and that we do, indeed, belong together.
